Professor Dr. Florian Zenger* teaches criminal law and criminal procedure law at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Police University. In addition to this role, he advises clients in criminal law and disciplinary law matters.

Prof. Dr. Florian Zenger has focused on criminal law since the beginning of his professional career.

After working as a research assistant at the Institute for Criminal Law Studies at LMU Munich, counsel* Dr. Zenger served for a longer period as a public prosecutor at the Munich II public prosecutor's office. He therefore knows the internal processes and mindset of the “other side” from direct experience. This provides substantial added value in defense work.

Prof. Dr. Zenger has many years of experience as criminal defense counsel* and has successfully represented clients even in difficult cases.

Prof. Dr. Zenger studied law and political science in Munich. He passed both state law examinations with distinction and earned a doctorate at LMU Munich on a criminal-procedure topic. Through postgraduate studies leading to a Master of Laws (LL.M.), he further deepened his criminal-law expertise and also completed mediation studies (Master of Mediation, M.M.) focused on conflict management and interviewing techniques. A master's degree in criminology at the University of Hamburg completes his academic training. He additionally pursued extensive university-level training in legal psychology. To assess medical issues in medical-criminal-law cases, he completed postgraduate medical studies at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Master in Health and Medical Management, M.H.M.M.).

Alongside his teaching at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Police University and legal practice, counsel* Dr. Florian Zenger is also a lecturer in medical criminal law at LMU Munich.
